My bf has horrible cystic body acne. What is the best way to cure that besides the obvious try to keep those areas suseptable to it extra clean of oils and all. That helps but isn’t the cure.

I have been there my friend. Education of the subject matter is the best treatment/prevention. Don’t buy another product until you have read the info at the site below. Goodluck
You could try a natural acne cure.
I believe that he may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is a condition of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses or huge pimple like monsters, that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being over wieght or being unclean and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.
Here is a link :

If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.
Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, butt, for heavier people in the folds of thier skin and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing or other skin. Stress is a big inducer.
There is some support groups at MSN

and yahoo, and I am open for questions!
I have had this for 8 years, I was misdiagnosed for a LONG time, I got ping-ponged between doctors , medicines and surgery. It was very embarrassing, painful and scary. I am just trying to help out so you don’t have to wait as long or go thru what I did.
I also prefer to use NEXCARE bandages.. there are 2 kinds I like for comfort and stay put reasons..
the first is like a clear bandaid…. soft on the edges with a small area of bandage… helps with those buggers when they are on bikni line.. usually stay for me.. or occasionally on my inner thigh for those I like the foamy sponge like ones that are beige in color.. I think they are 3M. And cleansing with WITCH HAZEL.
Do not reuse or share towels or intimate clothing. DO not wear same clothing twice. IF you hear in your head.. boy i think I should shower.. DO IT. I swear once it gets sticky/sweaty WASH IT.. That sweat irriates the crap outta it, and 10 times outta 10… it will get bigger and hurt more. The best thing for me is to keep it clean and DRY. I usually shower at night but often.. when I come home in the afternoon, I jump in do a quickie it really helps maintain for me..
Again hit me up if you need to talk or get some info.
For cystic body acne, the only truly effective option is Accutane. A topical treatment can’t be used over th entire body, and cystic acne is resistant to most other forms of acne treatment. (Over-the-counter remedies are a waste of time, unfortunately.) To get Accutane, he will need to see a dermatologist. Even if he doesn’t have insurance, this will ultimately be more affordable, in the long term, than the constant pursuit of lesser-expensive treatments that just don’t work.
Antibiotics aren’t effective for severe cystic acne; they are really only effective for mild-to-moderate acne. I’m including a link to a resource on WebMD below that helps patients with "Should I take isotretinion (Accutane) for my acne?". You both should review this. The short-term side effects of Accutane are manageable, and much-preferred by most severe acne sufferers, to the option of living with cystic acne.
Good luck — get treatment as soon as possible to avoid and minimize scarring.
I think he would need to see a Doctor to get some antibiotics
